Angie Ruiz and Christian Monzon star in La Milonga, a stylized romantic short film set in 1920's Buenos Aires during the era of Carlos Gardel and the rise of Tango. The film is directed by Francesca Di Amico. La Milonga premiered at the La Femme Film Festival in Beverly Hills and was honored at the Miami International Short Film Festival and San Luis Obispo Film Festival. The film was also honored at the Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art's prestigious MUSE Young Directors Series and was 1 of 8 short films selected to screen for a sold out audience at LACMA's Bing Theatre.
